1. No matter what philosophical, political, or economic trends may be occurring, the importance of The Fourth Estate, that is to say the media and press, should go without saying. But in America, the media landscape has turned into a shit hole of such proportions as to resemble a sewage plant retaining pond, whose value exists solely in separating actual physical shit, from just shitty water. Everywhere I look in the Atlanta TV press corps I am assaulted by effeminate male newscasters. I use the word assaulted not because I am offended by the sexuality of any newscaster, but because there are so many effeminate Black male newscasters (presuming they are an actual minority), that somebody must be giving effeminate Black men a ‘leg up’ on the local news programs. I will not name names, as it doesn’t matter, you just list the Black male newscasters on every channel and ask yourself which one’s you’d feel comfortable with playing catch with your son in the backyard. Here again this is not because I have problems with effeminate men spending time around children, it is because the idea of a dude with absolutely no interest in ‘football’ being ‘responsible’ for teaching it, merely because most coaches prior have not been gay, and it would be a good idea for diversity to have ‘the first’ openly gay or openly effeminate man coaching football is ludicrous. Thus I am not saying the newscasters are devoid of talent, I am saying the circumstances in which these effeminate Black male newscasters have arisen are highly problematic. Why all of a sudden? Why after 400 years of not letting niggas do shit, all of sudden White folks can’t find enough effeminate Black men to promote up into high visibility positions. This is not a question of an individual’s actual talent, I just wonder who or what group in American society stands the most to gain, by treating Black masculinity like absent overt effeminacy, it must by default be toxic and problematic. Who stands to gain, White people who view real Black men as a threat, and the Black women and effeminate/gay Black men, that White folks are happy to affirm into positions of power as they represent less of a threat than well-educated and secure in themselves (including their sexuality) Black men. But we will leave that to a further discussion.
2. The AJC headline that I have not seen during the FIFA World Cup reads as follows: “Trump policies hurt the Atlanta economy, tourism, and a city that proclaims itself a city too busy to hate“. Any idiot knows damn well how many Latin Americans love their ‘football’ (soccer) and that they are a primary audience. Not only that, niggas from the Caribbean, South America (Brazil especially) and Africa love ‘football’, referred to as soccer for the purposes of this essay. Did Atlanta not need the tourists, the high-profile event, etc.? Or is the new Sherriff in town, Donald Trump, the reason why the AJC is acting like it’s not obvious why numbers and excitement about the FIFA event is down. The denizens and decisionmakers at the AJC know damn well, half the people in the stadium would probably have been illegal. If the AJC didn’t know, ICE damn sure knew it, and that is why Latinos et al, unless their papers were 1000% in order, just left the event alone. Atlanta, too busy to hate…unless you are Latino and undocumented. Completely undocumented or not, many Blacks from the Caribbean and South America have ‘overstayed’ their visas, or just not gotten things in order, hoping to get lost in the American sea of humanity. But while it’s relatively easy to tell a Latino with scant language skills, by his physical appearance and immediate responses, the mass of Negritude in Atlanta makes it harder for ICE agents to just see an African or swarthy Carribean person, and absent opening one’s mouth, distinguish that person from an average nigga in Atlanta. Either way, the point of this essay is not a critique of ‘physical types’. It is a counsel to my African and swarthier Latino friends to have some readymade Black American, more especially nigga phrases ready at hand if ICE agents come up to them asking questions. The first quote, “ain’t nobody got time for this’! You have to practice saying it like an angry Black woman fussing at her child. The second quote, ‘y’all got me fucked up’! The third quote is from Snoop Dogg, ‘you can take me out the ghetto, but you can’t take the ghetto out of me.’ With the right dress, the right attitude, and the right phraseology, you just might save yourself a trip to the ICE Detention facility. Oh yes, and get you some nigga friends, even if you have to pay them. Why? Because your White friends may love you, but they don’t resent and resist the police inherently and intrinsically (as in don’t snitch). So when ICE comes at you around your White friends, they will try to get to the bottom of the situation and talk reasonably to the police. We niggas, oh hell no, unless we are upper middle class and/or elite socioeconomically, we resent the police in nearly every case, and for nearly every reason (unless of course we called the police on somebody).
3. 6-24-25 AJC “Telehealth cause of slight increase in abortions”. That is to say that the overall number of abortions has increased, even though abortion has been legally banned in 13 (I think) states. Politicians of all stripes, from the partisans of the right, to the socialist-atheists of the left think ‘The Law’ can be used to coerce human beings. It cannot. You cannot control people by slapping laws on a piece of paper, and using the machinery of state to enforce them, and punish their transgression. It did not work for alcohol and drugs, it did not work for homosexuality, it does not work for speeding, it doesn’t work for robbery and theft, etc. The law itself, and even its enforcement doesn’t stop shit. At best it can ‘retard’ it, but usually that is deceptive in that it comes out in some worse manifestation than the original. Societies pat themselves on the back because of the perceived ‘quality’ of their laws, jurisprudence systems and judges. That is external and has nothing to do with the ‘quality of its citizens lives’. The determining factor in the quality of life in a citizenry is the ‘quality’ of their ‘Fear of God’. A man that fears God in his heart, doesn’t need a law to ‘do unto others, as he would have himself done’. But a man that only fears laws and the powers of law enforcement, by default, only fears ‘being seen’ by law enforcement, not any internal recollection that his behavior is wrong. Thus, much other questionable behavior gets overlooked, simply because at present there is no technical law against it. There is no law against Shannon Sharp paying a White girl $30,000 to fuck her and whoop her ass while so doing. But a nigga with the fear of God in his heart, such that he can taste its salty, baking soda brine when he wants (that is to say salivates) to do an evil, wouldn’t have done no shit like that. lol, he might have paid $10,000 but not $30,0000. But I digress. The same goes for abortion, just outlawing and punishing it, without doing shit about the ‘fear of God’ in society in general hasn’t lessened abortions and will not. The only thing it has served to do is make abortion easier as the pro-abortion forces have the advantage of technological means of inducing abortion. The pharmaceutical (as opposed to surgical) abortions can occur at damn near any trimester by means of a simple pill, easily available over the internet. Thus if you really are ‘against’ abortion, it should be safe, legal, and available; but that is not the part you would worry about. The part you would worry about is inducing the fear of God in people, and to a lesser degree fear of Church, Mosque, Temple, and generations immemorial of mammalian family and extended family tradition. Plus, perhaps the worst kept secret ever, along with the ‘secret of the world’s oldest profession’, is how babies are made. If in 2025, human males and females are so bewildered at ‘how babies are made’, that it is possible for them to delude themselves into the psychological inconsistencies of the pregnancy being ‘unplanned’, ‘undesired’, and ‘undesirable’, and that justifies aborting what you know damn well is a life, that is fucked up, no matter how one feels about abortion. At the least it is unnecessary. As important as eating is, we have to wait and postpone it until times like breakfast, lunch, dinner etc. This is good for human health and weight as opposed to eating immediately every time one feels like it, or just eating all day. And yet the pro-abortion communities presuppose that a human being should not be counseled that sometimes it is best to ‘wait to fuck’ (precisely when it would be advised to have birth control)! If you just cannot ‘wait to fuck’, it’s ok, you have a right not to suffer for your irresponsibility. Provided the consenting adults take responsibility for birth control measures instead of simply hoping in chance, that the very act that causes pregnancy, doesn’t cause pregnancy, abortion is unnecessary. Abortion (medically or surgically) is simply unnecessary, if people just take responsibility for their behavior. But that is the problem. Post-modernity doesn’t demand of its citizens that they take responsibility for their behavior because some pill (biktarvy), abortion pill, et al, will take care of whatever medical misfortunes occur due to our irresponsible behavior. Meanwhile there is some family or woman somewhere about to steal somebody baby because she is so desperate to have a baby. Come on AJC, have a real conversation on this shit. Do we need to ask AI how babies are made in order to keep people from making them so ‘unwantedly’?
4. 6-25-25 AJC Brother and sister compete for same seat in Orlanda. Two brother and sister siblings from a Black political family are running against each other. This was the critique I wanted to skip, even with the theme of doing a page devoted to critiquing week to week articles in the AJC. I am a subscriber, so I lament the ridiculous sum I pay to be mailed the effluvia from a Sewage Treatment Plant retaining pond. In order to make sales for my books and try to recoup some of my student loan monies (let’s just say I owe the price of a starter home), I decided to critique the AJC on a daily basis. Ergo these present moments. Let us begin. Randolph Bracy and LaVon Bracy-Davis are running against each other for a Florida senate seat. The mother has endorsed the daughter over the son. Their father was a local NAACP president, founder of a Baptist church in Orlando and Director of the religion department at Bethune Cookman University. They ran against each other in the previous election cycle. This is wrong on so many levels. On the primary level, we have the Gen X version of the ‘King Family Syndrome’, in which volatile sibling rivalries get personal and spew out into the public. In the Bracy family rivalry, the fight for control, ‘the birthright’ (as it were) occurred in the political realm, whereas in the King family, it was a more ‘economic’ and ‘administrative control’ oriented realm. Note in both cases, that while religion predominated the activities and ambitions of the parents and senior members of the family (Martin and Coretta), and the Bracy sibling’s parents, the younger generation is far more concerned with political and economic power rather than the high-minded spirituality of their immediate forebears. On the secondary level of wrongness, has the thought not occurred to them, that with their pedigree, that if they perhaps go in different fields, or for God’s sake different areas of the State, and run for something, as opposed to running against each other, with a combined effort they might actually succeed in winning both positions. That is a far greater testimony to the legacy they inherited as opposed to them fighting each other and being winner take all with regard to one available State Senate seat. But no. On the trinary level of wrongness, occurrences like this are the precise reason politics in Africa and the Caribbean are so volatile. If in African America, as in these places, ‘political power’, of course such powers being formerly owned and monopolized by the White man, are the only game in town, that sets up a dangerous scenario where ambition can count more than quality. Political power in the White man’s former positions, colonial or in chocolate cities all across America, is more reliable income and power, than being a doctor, lawyer, CEO, businessman, artisan, professional, preacher, Holy man/woman, or village idiot. This is why so many so called Democratic African regimes and Caribbean regimes have such a hard time leaving office, and such a hard time not using violence to stay in office. Here in America, the White man’s rules preclude such a thing, but the basic dynamic is present, and it is working fine. This is so radically ingrained that these two Negro Florida siblings will fight each other for the spoils like some mediaeval gothic tale about warring siblings fighting over ‘the kingdom’, all presuming to be doing what’s in the best interest of ‘their’ people, presumably Black people, and State Senator of all races in the Florida. Nonsense, anybody that can’t fix Black people, doesn’t deserve to be prancing around talking about they can fix White Floridians problems too!
5. 6-25-25 AJC shorts. “Michigan man’s mother a member of church where he opened fire.” Beloved citizens of America, do you really believe ‘mental illness’ just drops out of the sky like rain, or that is completely natural, unfortunate but natural, like a hurricane or some other ‘natural disaster’? Perhaps, but I suspect that there is something particular to, and peculiar about America, its society, its entertainments, its religious understandings, its politics, its culture, that is literally driving people crazy. Trump can get up every day saying how perfect America is, and how great it is, but our children are not coming to the same conclusions, if the suicide rate amongst children and youth continues to dramatically increase. Trump can talk about how great and powerful our military is, but with 17 former servicemen and/or women killing themselves every day, back at home, something is still wrong. You damn sure don’t need quality enemies if your soldiers end up killing themselves, and considering that, no wonder recruitment is down. How the fuck can something not be wrong, if we pat ourselves on the back if a military operation includes no, or few US causalities, just so they can come home and kill themselves at the rate of 17 per day? Oh yes, this is the greatest country in the world, but children have to walk through metal detectors upon entrance to the school, and throughout the school there are armed active-duty cops. This is supposedly to protect our children. But who are we protecting them from, THEMSELVES? What the fuck kind of insane logic is that. You can’t protect a muthafucka from himself, by philosophical default. Most importantly, metal detectors and armed active-duty police can’t protect our children from paranoia, anxiety, and emotional problems due to the fact their society is so dangerous, and their families are so broken (unreliable). This anxiety is also self-diagnosed and ameliorated the way humans always have, drugs and alcohol. Drug and alcohol culture has taken over our society. Commercials come on TV that show people drinking popular liquor brands, partying, and having a wonderful time, but no commercial shows the downside of broken families, DUI’s, and doing crazy shit while drunk (not to mention the ‘unwanted’ pregnancies). A Black boy in the ghetto can’t get 2 people to read a book to him before he enters Kindergarten, but let him run a mile a minute, shoot that rock, or run that ball, and they will celebrate his ignorant ass like he is Jesus in 2nd coming, because he’s going to UGA where his nigga ass will be chauffeured around by young nubile White women. The destruction of the Black family is driving our children crazy. From youth violence to complete academic ambivalence, to the drug addled, highly sexualized lifestyles promoted in post-modern Hip-Hop and R&B, our culture is insane, and the results it is producing are insane. Whether the allegations against Puffy, Shannon Sharp, Smokey Robinson, etc., are true or not, what type of message is it sending Black youth in our society. The AJC, Superintendents of school systems, police, politicians, and even preachers will happily jump up and say we need all these therapists, all these police officers in the schools, all these pharmaceuticals, and all these gun laws and stupid shit like ‘Midnight boxing and basketball’ to get our children to act right, but won’t nobody say these damn children need a live in father, and strong nuclear and extended families. That is why America won’t repent until like German Historian Oswald Spengler warned, the actual decline and rot of what was once known as European Civilization is on the trash heap of history. The need for more police, more law enforcement technologies, and more therapists is not a harbinger of good things to come in one’s society. Similarly, depending upon technology to solve social, political and economic problems is not only a sign of irresponsible leadership, but it also does not solve problems either. It is a sign that your society is already out of control! How can an intellectual, even as talented as me, tell post-modernity that AI will not solve your problems, it will intensify them, in the same way that 50 years of computers has not increased test scores or improved our children’s behavior. Science (such that it is) has proven, though it doesn’t feel confident enough to tell you what a ‘man’ and a ‘woman’ are, is confident enough to tell us that the screen time actually makes our children’s behavior worse and increases the likelihood they will need medication to control themselves. Similarly, 25 years of the internet has not brought about a ‘revolution’ in human civilization such that dialog, understanding, and relationship is formed. Quite the contrary, we hide behind the technology and just run all over the internet insulting people, looking for people to insult, and looking to find the latest news source, which is not a news source at all, it is a source of people insulting somebody. The fact that we laugh, makes us presume its entertainment, when it is actually so ‘soul draining’ that it is driving Americans insane. Let them that have ears, hear.
