Atlanta: Please Don’t Let Bottoms, Dickens, Abrams and Warnock Fool You Pt. 3 (Final)

Other genius strategies that are completely self-defeating for Black people are reparations. We are debating and protesting White people, and donating and giving niggas with a little education they got from the White man and that talk good, money for a full time salary and staff, for the sole purpose of begging White folks for reparations. That is the definition of a counterintuitive revolutionary strategy. Instead of taking up money to start businesses, support marriages and families, etc., we will pay a nigga the White man trained to complain to the White man on our behalf that we need reparations and if the White man does not give them to us, we are doomed to both lack of self-esteem and perpetual poverty? We may as well in that case start back talking like slaves, ‘massa wees is need reparations and affirmative action or elses, we just won’t make it; massa not only do we not know what to do with ourselves relative to the global capitalist economy, we can’t figure it out without you massa’! You take up money and pay this White mainstream university trained nigga to argue you need reparations and welfare, when instead, your contributions to his salary, advertising and schmoozing in Washington, New York and Hollywood budget, could have bought 2 or 3 convenience stores and gas stations in an urban area presently owned by immigrants.

Then we could give our children jobs and work experiences in our retail stores, instead of affirming Chinese, Indian and SE Asian business and even LatinX Caribbeans that open businesses in our communities because it is a hell of a lot easier than establishing businesses and a presence with White folks. Our urban economies are foot in the door business opportunities for everybody (races and nations of the world) but us? And I still wonder how we beg for affirmative action when every convenience store and gas station in our communities is owned by immigrants. It is like we practice affirmative action on everybody else, the world and it’s immigrants and then we got to beg muthafuckas to give us some affirmative action. That’s what Dickens should be talking about when he says his constant refrain every time there is Black teen and youth violence, ‘this has got to stop’. Immigrants are living their ‘foot in the door’ dream with a business in our underserved Black communities that no one else wants to operate in, not even Black people (ga figure…is it because we don’t know how to act?) and using it to parlay their American dreams! All while we claim we need reparations and affirmative action from the White man to live ours (American Dream)? They (more or less recent immigrants), live their American dream of business and home ownership and sending their children to prestigious White universities and guess what, White people don’t assume they got there because of affirmative action but they think yours (our Black children) did and treat them accordingly. Only thing is, immigrant children did get there because of affirmative action. Black people in urban poor communities practiced affirmative action on them and sent their kids to school, helped them live their American dreams and helped bring their family members from overseas, improving their lives; the very same things we should be doing for ourselves and our family members…ga figure. All the while, we niggas and the elite White mainstream university educated nigga graduates they select for us, beg, bitch, cajole, harass, protest, steal and moan for White mainstream and government help. Meanwhile our children are in chaos.

Conclusion

Between 1979-81, approximately 30-40 young Black people died under mysterious circumstances, the phrase to describe this phenomenon came to be known as ‘The Missing and Murdered Children of Atlanta 79-82’. It got national attention and no less than famed Black author James Baldwin wrote an entire book on the subject of ‘The Missing and Murdered Children of Atlanta 79-82’. Just this past weekend in Baltimore, 2 dead, 28 people injured many, under the age of 14. In my beloved Atlanta, the Black Mecca, since January of 2023, 65 people under 21 have died due to youth Black on Black violence, often over ridiculous things, like social media posts and perceived disses, (sacrificing our seed to a technological god Molech in a way). Comparatively speaking, 35 Black youth under 21 died between 1979-82 (a four-year period) in ‘The Missing and Murdered Children of Atlanta 79-82’ . That deserves ‘investigation’, sighing, memorializing and handwringing. But between January of this year and a July, just in Atlanta, 65 youth have died under circumstances no social scientist, nigger, White person, or foreigner in their right mind would say is ‘unusual’ circumstances. And yet ‘Slickens’ and ‘Keisha parlay to a position higher in the Democratic Party Bottoms’ are patting themselves on the back and taking celebratory photos and publicity shots about their great work on behalf of nigger children who died damn near 40 years ago. No disrespect to those deaths all, but why do they stick out so powerfully in the Black psyche as opposed to holding our politicians accountable for the fact more of our children killed each other this year than in the entirety of the 79-81 Missing and Murdered Children Crime spree? And that’s lets you in on a dirty little secret of Black politics and Civil Rights lawyering.

Apparently, the only deaths that matter to Ben Crump, Dickens, Sharpton, the NAACP, the Urban League, etc. are the ones that our so-called leadership can directly, indirectly or by conspiracy theory blame on Whites. And that is the great tragedy of Negro life in America. No one will complain or ask existential questions about Black-on-Black violence, which outweighs White on Black violence exponentially. That is, other than lip service and vague inuendo like criticisms like ‘this has got to stop’ and ‘we’re better than this’ if Blacks kill Blacks. But if Whites or any other non-White agents of ‘the system’ we call institutionally racist kill us it is a great national tragedy that deserves protest, anger, throwing rocks and water bottles filled with pee at police. How did all of this work for the ‘Occupy Movement’? Remember them, a headless horseman scam, just like BLM. We complain about ‘institutional racism’, even though Nigerians and Indians are just as Black and brown as us and fill up Med Schools and elite universities far more than ‘usses’ (African Americans), even though we’ve been here 400 years. And for that matter Indian people have a higher per capita income in many places than Whites quite because of their academic success, success in Silicon Valley as well as, and yes, in their equally amazing success opening and running varying businesses in urban usually poorer Black communities in the United States and to be frank, poor Black communities in the Afro Caribbean diaspora and the Afro Mexican, black communities. What counterintuitive ironies. The very same Black communities middle class and elite Blacks run from in order to live around and send their children to White mainstream schools, the White parents just think your kids got there by affirmative action, Indians and Asians run to those same Black urban poor communities and put up businesses and send their kids to the same schools where their children are assumed by even White people to be smarter than everybody fuckin else. What ironies?

How do we know middle class and elite Black people run from the very same poor, urban and Black communities Indians and Asians run to, in order establish themselves in America, get a foot in the door, establish credit, and get rich? Even Young Thug’s own neighborhoods weren’t good enough for him, so he lived in Buckhead. Meanwhile we complain about gentrification and this gnawing more often than not subconscious feeling that White people are stealing from us, but we won’t know it until it’s too late and we are priced out of our own communities and chocolate city has imported enough affluent Whites, Asians and LGBTQIA et al, to elect a White or even Asian mayor in Atlanta. Not so much a chocolate city anymore, but at best a creamy off White colored one, which is fine, but I wished we could have fixed ‘Chocolate City’, the ‘Black Mecca’ and made it work as an example to other urban areas that are facing many of the same existential, economic, and political problems Atlanta is right now with our youth and otherwise.
